Crescent Beach Centre

A window into our Past

The Crescent Beach Centre is home to the Ragged Islands Coastal Heritage Project, which is currently working to preserve, document and display our communities heritage, in an effort to preserve our identity, along with our  individuality.

In 2008 we hosted a number of their ongoing projects, and in 2009 we will be devoting the majority of the space within the Centre to the construction of a series of displays that can will allow visitors a window into our past, as well as a look at our present.

Virtual Displays

Because we are closed for the season we decided to move some of our most popular exhibits on to the web! Click on the links bellow to visit our virtual displays with your browser!

Contributing to the Project

Because the project is based entirely within the community, it is very much open to contributions, and would cease to exist without the generous support it receives.

Volunteers are also something we are very interested in, and if you would like to volunteer to help with the project, please contact Howard or Anne Roszel at 902-656-3123.

Some of the Displays featured in 2009 include:
